Departing from Nāwiliwili Harbor in Līhuʻe, you’ll board the Imua, a 35-foot Cabo sport fisher equipped with twin 500HP Caterpillar engines, air-conditioned cabins, and top-of-the-line Shimano Tiagra gold reels paired with custom Z-Lures rods. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, Captain Ikena and his crew will guide you through various fishing techniques, including trolling, live baiting, and deep jigging, all tailored to the day’s conditions.
Imua Fishing Charters offers both private and shared trips to suit your preferences. Choose from the 4-hour Aloha Charter, the 6-hour Ho’okipa Charter, or the 8-hour Hana Hou Charter for private groups of up to six people. For shared experiences, the 4-hour Ohana Charter and the 6-hour Hau’oli Charter accommodate up to four guests. Each trip provides the opportunity to catch a variety of deep-water fish, such as Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Ono (Wahoo), and Marlin.
As you venture just 10 minutes offshore, the crew will help you spot signs of fish activity, like seabirds feeding or floating debris. After a successful day on the water, the captain will gladly fillet your catch, ensuring you enjoy a fresh meal during your stay on the island.
